Just a quick note.  I hope the Prewitt in the Coven isn't Molly and is instead a cousin or something.  Molly Prewitt can't have gone to school with Lily and Narcissa unless she went as an adult.  Bill is a minimum of 8 years older than Harry since Charley is out of Hogwarts in Book 1.  This means Molly would have had Bill while Lily was still in 3rd or 4th year.

Author's Response: Dude, read the story. The Prewitt in the Grimoire has been in St Mungo's for almost as long as Evans has been dead.

I loved the chapter. While a BtVS/Addams Family/Harry Potter seems a bit cumbersome at first glance, you've managed to craft an extraordinary story that keeps getting better.

interesting political back story you made.

“Never mind, my point is, if you’ve got the guts to take the pain, you can prevent more of it in the future,” Xander told him. “That’s how it works with Bullies. You fight back, yeah you’ll take a beating, but if you take it with style and send them whining to their momma they won’t come back the next time.”

hope Longbottom takes his advice. in the last book he came off the best, not backing down and never giving up.

“Why now? Because of the war,” She answered, “A lot of prominent families were basically destroyed, like the Blacks and the Prewitts. Wizards live long lives, which can put a crimp in inheritance laws, but basically over then next few years a lot of houses are going to change as their heirs come of age to claim the head of family title. Longbottom, Malfoy, and Potter are just the most visible.”

that's interesting. if Xander can change some of those heirs thinking that would have a interesting effect on the balance of power.

Xander had to agree with that point. “Well I guess there were a lot of families basically destroyed, and  a lot of the next people in line to take over those families are just starting to come of age now.”

“That would explain some of the things I’ve seen,” Wednesday mused, “Family survival is nothing to be played around with. People have committed genocide over less.”

should be interesting to see Wednesday's view on what caused the war and its effects politically and socially.

wonder if Xander will ever ask his parents about their families and what they would say.

great story looking forward to your next chapter.

Another great chapter.

I do like the briefing Xander received on British wizarding viewpoint and wonder how it will develop.

A fourth group? Light, Dark, Ministry & Xander?

Looking foward to more.

Thanks

Really like this story. Hope you have Xander start learning and using his brain more. It seems in this chapter your starting in that direction. Maybe have a friend or something happen to where he believes he needs it. Also find out if he is from the Family Harris. Can't wait for more.

Hmm, a little short, but I'll still give it a silver star and say, it's still a valid plot point... Thank you for the update.

Excellent as always and I look forward to seeing where you go with this angle.

I think my favourite part yet.  You're individual take on the politics of the HP universe makes for compelling reading.
