“I don’t know about cutting, Ma’am.” Xander said, nodding to the still writing tongue.
What, exactly, was the tongue writing?
The third hex sent Lockhart running from the hall with Snape on his heals just as Xander arrived at the faculty table and grimaced down at the writing tongue that was curling around a plate of bacon and eggs.
the word Heals, ought to be replaced with Heels.
Now that was as skillful a piece of misdirection as I've ever read about. Warding the Slytherin table against pranked food, but instead of send it back to the Lions, it got sent to the *staff table*.

brilliant! love the way xanders devious side gets to come out and play.
A lively start to a new year. Now to see if the twins will learn from their two failures and pull back a bit or if they'll get nastier and more over the top.
Classic.
Xander's cunning is beginning to come out. ^_^ Guess he'll be getting some respect from the Sltherins now. :D
damn...
Xander has guts... gambling with the ire of the professors like this...
But now the twins will be looking for blood... after they figure out how Xander did this stunt at least.
It is nice to see a cunning Slytherin for once.
Keep up the good work!

Xander didn't look at her as he whispered back, "We warded thewow Xander really knows how to get even.
table. Anything the twins send here with that obscurement charm on it
gets dumped on the professors table instead."
Snape drew his wand in a flash, but the four foot tongue made a total hash of whatever he was trying to cast, and Lockhart quickly cast his counter curse with a flourish.
This time Xander didn’t have to fake shock as Snape’s tongue *fell out* and flopped around the tabe. He winced and jumped up quickly, running over, God I hope they can reattach that!
well hopefully Snape will make him quit now and they can get a real teacher.
great story looking forward to your next chapter.
