Hermione was soon pulled in by the prospects of books not available in Hogwarts library, and Xander found himself sharing his texts with her more and more often. She had immediately gone on a rant about how the new school methodology made so much sense, and had then gone on to bring it up in potions class to Professor Snape.

Hmm .. what an odd reaction ... on Wednesday's part...

Nice chapter. I love that Wednesday is sensitive to this stuff. I get the feeling that she'll prove to have a natural talent for divination in third year, although I'm not sure if she'd get along with the teacher or rub her the wrong way with her total honesty.

 

Interesting to see Wednesday react that way. I am guessing more to the darkness than to the death itself.

Good to see the differences between the different schools and methodologies. Missed Narcissa's reactions to the redirected prank, something was probably written in the journal.
